Meet the Staff

Colette Helseth L.V.T.

Colette has been in the veterinary field since 1994.  She has worked with a wide range of animals; from cats and dogs, to farm animals, and even exotic birds and reptiles.  She has also helped in the rehabilitiation of some wild birds of prey, such as hawks and owls.  Colette moved to north Spokane in 2000 and is really enjoying it here.  Her own "furry children" include 3 cats and 2 dogs.

Wandermere Animal Hospital Staff

Kari Moore and "Rassy"

Kari has been a member of the WAH family as a receptionist and bookkeeper since 2001.  However, she has worked in the veterinary field since 1999.  Kari and her husband live with their three cats and spend much of their free time outdoors gardening, camping, kayaking, and biking.

Amber Hoots and kitten

Amber is new to the veterinary field.  She graduated from Apollo College with her assistant certification in the summer of 2007.  She has been a part of the WAH family since march of 2008.  Sadly, Amber recently lost her beloved pet rat, "Mrs. Jingles"; so she gets her pet fix every day by cuddling  all the cute puppies and kittens we see.

Wandermere Animal Hospital Receptionist

Jayme Marquardt and "Misha"

Jayme has been with WAH since 2005.  She enjoys decorating, shopping, and camping.  She and her husband recently finished building their home and are hoping to add to their family soon...with Misha's approval!

Jaimee Lynne Leach L.V.T. and "Darby"

Jaimee has been in the veterinary field since 2000, and received her technician license from Yakima Valley Community College in 2004.  She has worked with a variety of animals including small, large, exotics, and wildlife.  She especially enjoys small animal and equine medicine.  She lives in Chattaroy with her husband and several critters, including 2 cats, a dog, and a horse.  She enjoys horseback riding, camping, hiking, and working on her "little farm".
